God is everywhere! He is everywhere; in the
Church, or even in the deep of the jungle. It doesn’t matter where we pray or
how we pray personally, God listens our prayer. For me, I like to pray outside
and do meditation in nature. I like to do this kind of prayer because; I feel
close to God in union with all creation, I feel a fresh air and get easier to
concentrate in my prayer, and sometimes reduce my stress by praying with
nature.
Pray outside in nature makes me feel close to
God and His creation. I can feel His majesty and how wonderful He is; in a chirp
of birds, sounds of frog and also crowing chicken. I feel close to God and
nature in a deep feeling and sense Him in a live trees ‘dancing’ by the wind
blow on them. I can smell a lot of unidentified strange smell of flowers, wood,
and soil. I believe that’s showed me He exists in the creations.
The way I can get a good concentration on my
prayer is praying in nature. When I pray outside in nature I will get a good
air and fresh air on my breath. I fell the air blows on me and gives me fresh
air through my hands, up to my neck and get on my head, it is always nourishes
me, and off course this is healthy for my body. This makes me easier to
concentrate.
Nature is always reducing my stress.
Sometimes I cannot pray because I have a lot of things to do; I have paper
works, letter, and visitation from the parishioners. Those kinds of job make me
stress a lot. I need to have a good prayer and at the same time I need to
reduce my stress. So the way I pray and get feeling better is praying outside,
in nature.
I do believe that God is in union with nature
and all His creation. I also want to be always in union with God and His
creation by praying in nature. By this way; I can feel Him in union with
creation, I can get my better concentration, and sometimes reduce my stress. So
I suggest to all of us to find God in all creation too, in small way by praying
in nature. You’ll get a lot of benefit of doing this!
